Police Asking Public For Help Identifying Lindenhurst Bank Robber

Suffolk County detectives and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public's help identifying a man who allegedly robbed a Lindenhurst bank last month.

Police say the man entered the Apple Bank, at 151 Sunrise Highway, on May 24 at 4:05 p.m. He approached the teller and presented a note demanding cash, Suffolk County Police said.

The teller complied with the demand and gave him cash from the drawer. The man then fled on foot southbound on N. Indiana Avenue, police said. 

To help identify the man, Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
